Chemical distributor Productos Químicos Barcelona S.A. changes name to “OQEMA Iberia S.A.”

  • The chemical distributor PROQUIBASA (Productos Químicos Barcelona, S.A.), acquired by the OQEMA Group in March 2021, will be renamed OQEMA Iberia S.A. as of November 15, 2021.
  • OQEMA Iberia has offices in Barcelona and Madrid in Spain, in Lisbon in Portugal, and also serves North Africa.

Liedberg, 8 November 2021. Proquibasa S.A. (PRODUCTOS QUIMICOS BARCELONA, S.A.), which has been part of the OQEMA Group since March 2021, will operate under the name of OQEMA Iberia S.A. as of 15 November 2021.

Founded in 1966, today OQEMA Iberia are one of the leading companies in chemical distribution in the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa, characterised by high service capacity and flexibility.

The company has two main warehouses located in Barcelona and Madrid and a network of warehouse locations across Spain and Portugal.
